Lately, I am obsessed with this little guy: Domo-Kun. I don't know much about his origins (or backstory, to toss around fiction lingo), but Target was carrying adorable Halloween-themed Domo stuffed toys, and I really wanted one, and now they're sold out and not available online. Domo!
Lately, I am obsessed with this little guy: Domo-Kun. doomokun is a combination of doomo (thanks) and -kun (used to address little boys in most cases, or men younger than yourself, sort of an affectionate term) he is an nhk staple initially used to teach children manners (think barney), but way cooler for all the other things he does like chase kittens and generally always look alarmed.
Yes, the always looking alarmed is the cutest part, I think.
Who would have thought that I'd become obsessed with something akin to a Japanese Barney? Albeit, a way cooler "Barney."
